Waitress (225-911)

As a waitress, you will be the face of our dining establishment, providing excellent customer service to ensure guests have an outstanding experience from start to finish. Your responsibilities involve greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time while also maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. In this role, you will utilize your communication skills to engage with guests, upsell menu items, and address any questions or concerns. With an emphasis on providing a warm and welcoming ambiance, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the dining experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the dining establishment.
• Promptly take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate order preparation.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have regarding menu items.
• Upsell additional menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Manage guest complaints with professionalism, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, setting tables, and clearing dishes as needed.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using cash register or POS system.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas during opening and closing shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under busy restaurant conditions.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and bill calculations.
• Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods during shifts.
• Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor towards guests.
