Job Description

The Accountant cum Admin role is a multifaceted position that blends financial acumen with administrative efficiency. This dual-function role requires someone who can manage both the day-to-day financial records and handle various administrative tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, excellent with numbers, and have a knack for multitasking. In addition to maintaining financial health, you will be responsible for supporting senior management with essential administrative functions to ensure smooth operations. Your financial oversight will include maintaining accurate books, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Administratively, you will support office operations, including correspondence, scheduling, and maintaining records. This role is perfect for a professional eager to grow with a dynamic team while balancing administrative responsibilities with financial management.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt payments and collections.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure against the budget.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and coordinate with vendors for office needs.
  • Implement and maintain filing systems for both financial and administrative records.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records as per company protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and team members as needed.
  • Liaise with external partners, banks, and auditors for financial and admin matters.
  • Draft correspondences, organize documentation, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles, preferably three years or more.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork and reporting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and administrative information.
