Job Description

As a Software Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth by connecting with potential clients and providing them with valuable insights and solutions tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise in software products combined with a deep understanding of the sales process will empower you to effectively engage with prospects, build meaningful relationships, and guide them through their decision-making journey. You will work closely with our sales team to devise strategies and reach sales targets, always ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. As the ideal candidate, you possess exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric approach, enabling you to present our software solutions clearly and convincingly.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients within assigned territories and channels.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate and present software solutions to potential customers effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on sales progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to remain competitive.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with product teams to provide customer feedback and drive improvements.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of sales training materials for team members.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and be a point of contact for inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in software sales or a related field of activity.
  • Strong understanding of the software products and services industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to understand client needs and adapt sales techniques accordingly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.
