Job Description

As a Sales Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy and increasing revenue growth. The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying potential clients, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Your mission is to achieve targets by effectively understanding customer needs, promoting the company’s products, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Successful candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a keen commercial awareness, and a proven track record in sales or business development. You will work closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met and coordinate on pricing and presents a wide range of products to customers.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic prospecting efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitions.
  • Present and promote company products to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations as required by management.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Continuously gather feedback from clients to improve the customer experience.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage and update the CRM system to track leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals with diverse clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
