Job Description

As a Medical Representative, you will play an essential role in promoting and selling healthcare products to healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. You will work to improve your company's product reach and implement the overall marketing strategy to achieve organizational goals. Your primary objective will be to connect healthcare professionals with the benefits of your company's pharmaceutical products by providing timely, accurate, and reliable information about the uses, benefits, side effects, and off-label uses of these products. You will be required to have excellent communication skills to engage with clients and close deals effectively, as well as having in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and the competitive landscape. Your efforts will directly influence the sales figures and market position of your company, contributing meaningfully to its success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to facilitate product promotion.
  • Drive sales goals by presenting products with detailed technical specifications.
  • Arrange appointments and make presentations to clients in assigned territories.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, services, and campaigning techniques.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and products to provide strategic insights.
  • Organize seminars, exhibitions, and conferences for product promotion and visibility.
  • Provide timely feedback to the sales and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
  • Achieve sales targets consistently by utilizing effective marketing strategies.
  • Keep comprehensive records of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop effective sales tactics and initiatives.
  • Deliver post-sale customer support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze and report market trends to capitalize on sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing best practices.
  • Ability to travel extensively in assigned territories for client meetings.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and CRM software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
