Job Description

A Senior Chiropractor is a seasoned healthcare professional who specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. This role typically involves performing thorough patient assessments, creating specialized treatment plans, and utilizing various chiropractic techniques to aid in patient recovery. The Senior Chiropractor will work closely with patients to improve their physical health, relieve pain, and enhance mobility. This position requires excellent manual dexterity, communication skills, and a deep understanding of human anatomy. Additionally, a Senior Chiropractor often takes on leadership roles, mentoring junior chiropractors and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. They must stay abreast of the latest advancements in chiropractic and healthcare practices to provide effective and up-to-date medical care.


Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop individualized chiropractic treatment plans based on patients' specific needs.
  • Utilize manual adjustment techniques to correct spinal and joint problems.
  • Educate patients about chiropractic care and recommended lifestyle adjustments.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient management.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient treatments and progress.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in chiropractic care.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior chiropractors and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and safety standards.
  • Counsel patients about their health and provide preventive healthcare advice.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and analyze X-rays to inform treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Valid chiropractic license to practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chiropractic clinical practice.
  • Proficient knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
  • Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform treatments.
  • Experienced in leading a team and providing mentorship to peers.
