Job Description

The Field Sales Executive plays a critical role in driving the revenue for the company by engaging directly with customers and potential clients in their designated territory. This role requires high energy and passion for meeting people, understanding their needs, and persuading them about the value of the company's products or services. Generally working outside of an office environment, a Field Sales Executive’s main goal is to develop and maintain good relationships, close sales, and meet sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. As a face of the company, the Field Sales Executive will represent the company and its vision to the outside world, providing exceptional customer experiences, and building long-term relationships with clients to foster business growth.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage client relationships to achieve sales targets.
  • Visit clients regularly to demonstrate products and understand their requirements.
  • Analyze and understand market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate sales deals and continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and requirements are met.
  • Develop and execute effective sales plans to maximize product penetration in the market.
  • Participate in industry conferences and other promotional events as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Follow up with prospects and clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports to management detailing sales progress and challenges.
  • Continuously update knowledge of company products and competitive offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a field sales setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence others.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within assigned territory or region.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of sales practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel requirements.
