Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV systems across various locations for optimal surveillance coverage.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on existing security equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning CCTV systems and related hardware components.
• Collaborate with security personnel to assess security needs and vulnerabilities.
• Set up and test CCTV network systems to ensure effective surveillance connectivity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding the operation of CCTV equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service requests, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct training sessions for clients and staff about the proper use and features of CCTV systems.
• Identify new security technologies and recommend upgrades to enhance security systems.
• Develop and follow protocols for secure data management and privacy protection.
• Respond to emergency service requests promptly to ensure minimal surveillance downtime.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a CCTV Technician or similar technical role in security systems.
• Solid understanding of computer networking and CCTV system architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Certification in electronics or a related field of study is highly desirable.
