Job Description

As a Career Counsellor specializing in inside sales, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards achieving their professional aspirations. Your primary duty will be to reach out to potential clients, help them understand their career pathways, and offer the necessary guidance through the entire process. You will utilize your sales skills to effectively communicate the value of career planning services and assist clients in identifying opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations. This role demands a balance of empathy, communication skills, and sales acumen to foster long-lasting client relationships. You will also be involved in upselling and cross-selling our services, providing comprehensive career solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations with clients to understand their career goals and needs.
  • Utilize inside sales tactics to promote career counselling services effectively.
  • Develop tailored career plans that align with client aspirations and market trends.
  • Foster strong client relationships through consistent follow-ups and feedback sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services that benefit client’s career paths.
  • Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and counselling sessions.
  • Analyze market trends to provide updated career advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to strategize outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing client progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving concerns.
  • Offer guidance on resume building and interview preparation techniques.
  • Evaluate client feedback to enhance the quality of services provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years experience in career counselling or inside sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build client trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales strategies and client retention techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for effective tracking.
  • Knowledge of current job market trends and employment opportunities preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in client service.
