Job Description

The Account Director for Talent Solutions is a pivotal role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, client management, and leadership skills. This position is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their talent acquisition and management needs are met while driving business growth and profitability. As the principal contact for major accounts, the Account Director will develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor. They will work closely with internal teams to deliver customized talent solutions that address the unique challenges of each client. This role demands a deep understanding of the recruitment industry, a knack for anticipating market trends, and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly to optimize client outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet clients’ talent acquisition needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored talent solutions.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate and address clients’ evolving challenges.
  • Drive growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of our solutions according to client requirements.
  • Provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations to enhance recruitment processes.
  • Lead and mentor account management team members to ensure project success.
  • Manage account budgets, forecasts, and reports to measure performance against objectives.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop comprehensive client engagement strategies.
  • Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both parties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in account management or talent solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex accounts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to provide strategic solutions.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing account budgets effectively.
  • Knowledge of current HR and talent acquisition practices and technologies.
