Job Description

A Social Media Executive is a dynamic and creative professional responsible for leading a company’s social media strategy to boost visibility, engagement, and overall brand influence. The individual in this role plays an essential part in defining how the organization communicates with the target audience across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. The Social Media Executive must stay ahead of trends, craft compelling content, and foster community interaction. They must possess the ability to analyze performance data to inform future campaigns. This role requires an individual who is both strategic and hands-on, adept at working within a fast-paced environment, and capable of handling multiple projects at once to drive the optimization of social media outlets.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and leverage them to benefit the company’s initiatives.
  • Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge success and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate and manage community discussions to promote active engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Coordinate and optimize paid social media campaigns for maximum effectiveness and reach.
  • Stay updated on new social media technologies, trends, and best practices for industry relevance.
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders in the industry.
  • Manage social media partnerships with external agencies and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain consistency of the brand voice and messaging across all social media outlets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role for at least 3 years.
  • Strong portfolio of previously managed social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of social media analytics tools and digital marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a creative flair for crafting content.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-driven environment.
  • Proficient in using a wide range of social media platforms and associated software tools.
