Job Description

The Senior HR Generalist / Executive plays a critical role in managing and overseeing human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with legal regulations. This individual will act as a key point of contact for employee queries and will partner with management to address HR-related needs. Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior HR Generalist is responsible for implementing strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives and foster a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate is adept at handling multiple tasks efficiently and has a profound understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment and selection process to ensure timely hiring of qualified staff.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires successfully.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Evaluate job roles and design competitive compensation structures to attract top talent.
  • Ensure company compliance with labor regulations and ethical employment practices.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Conduct training sessions to develop and enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads on succession planning and workforce development strategies.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead culture-building initiatives to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace environment.
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and manage sensitive human resources issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR information systems accurately and confidentially.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport.
  • Proven capability in conflict resolution and handling sensitive employee issues.
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems and standard office software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
