Job Description

The Learning Experience Designer plays a critical role in crafting educational and training experiences that effectively engage and motivate learners. By leveraging instructional design principles and cutting-edge technology, they create learning modules that both educate and inspire. This role requires a deep understanding of how people learn and how to facilitate this process through engaging content and innovative delivery methods. Working closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other educators, the Learning Experience Designer ensures that all learning solutions are aligned with the educational goals and organizational objectives. This is a dynamic position suited for a creative individual with a passion for education and technology.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop high-quality learning content.
  • Design and develop instructional materials using a variety of media and tools.
  • Assess and utilize learning management systems to distribute course content effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences and iterate for improvement.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience and engagement.
  • Use analytics and feedback to refine learning strategies and outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in educational technology and instructional design.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities.
  • Facilitate training sessions to onboard educators and trainers on new tools.
  • Create assessments and evaluations to measure learner performance and knowledge gain.
  • Manage and update learning modules to ensure content relevancy and accuracy.
  • Work within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality educational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in instructional design or equivalent roles.
  • Proficient in e-learning development tools such as Articulate or Captivate.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical theories and educational methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written for diverse audiences.
