Job Description

The Quality Control Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that company standards and customer expectations are met. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of products or services and requires a deep understanding of industry regulations and quality assurance methodologies. As a Quality Control Executive, you will be responsible for meticulously examining and testing products and processes, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to enhance quality. You will also collaborate with various departments to develop and enforce guidelines, ensuring a seamless integration of quality standards throughout the production process. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing defects, optimizing efficiency, and ultimately safeguarding the company’s reputation for delivering exceptional quality.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for all products.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Analyze quality data and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
  • Train employees on quality assurance protocols and best practices in operations.
  • Oversee corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives for quality improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks at all times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality standards in raw materials and components.
  • Lead audits both internally and with external regulatory bodies as required by the industry.
  • Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures related to quality control.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control procedures and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior quality control staff and interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or related functions required.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance practices, methodologies, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this position.
  • Proficiency in quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Certification such as Six Sigma, or CQE is an added advantage for candidates.
