Job Description

The ERP Implementation Engineer plays a critical role in the successful deployment and integration of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems within an organization. This dynamic position requires an individual who possesses a robust understanding of ERP systems, project management, and business processes. The ERP Implementation Engineer works closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the ERP software is tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of the business. This role involves analyzing workflows, testing system functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to end-users. In addition, the ERP Implementation Engineer is responsible for documenting processes, customizing software according to client specifications, and ensuring data integrity throughout the deployment process. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen focus on delivering high-quality results.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and processes.
  • Design and configure ERP systems to optimize workflows and improve efficiencies.
  • Conduct system testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
  • Provide training and support to end-users for effective ERP system utilization.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ERP integration.
  • Create detailed documentation for ERP processes, configurations, and system guidelines.
  • Monitor the ERP system performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity and security during ERP implementation and migration.
  • Customize ERP software to align with specific business needs and goals.
  • Participate in the creation of project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of ERP systems and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and latest ERP technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementation, configuration, and support in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and knowledge of Project Management principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or others.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
