Construction Manager (225-820)

As a Construction Manager, you will be at the heart of our construction and development projects, steering them from conception to completion. Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers on site.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and allocations for optimal resource use.
• Analyze reports, drawings, and specifications for consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor project progress, issue forecasts, and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any unforeseen issues, challenges, or changes in project scope or timeline.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to value engineer projects cost-effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure a safe working environment for all workers.
• Negotiate contracts and coordinate procurement activities with vendors and suppliers.
• Lead and facilitate regular site meetings and briefings with project teams.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure proper project handover upon completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction management or similar role.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to coordinate and motivate teams.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant IT tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid construction management or project management certification preferred.
• Thorough understanding of construction safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to interpret charts, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
