Job Description

The Branch In‑charge for a food outlet plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of the establishment. This leadership position demands a dynamic individual adept at managing both the staff and the business aspects of the outlet. The person in this role is responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, customer service, and financial performance. A successful Branch In‑charge will be proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing effective strategies to address them. They will also focus on training and supervising employees to ensure that customers have a satisfying dining experience, while also ensuring the outlet meets sales and profitability targets. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for the hospitality industry are key traits for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food outlet to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure all items are adequately stocked.
  • Train and supervise staff to maintain high standards of food safety and customer service.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost customer traffic and sales.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Maintain accurate records for sales, inventory, and employee performance evaluations.
  • Plan and coordinate special events or promotions to enhance customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives and gather feedback.
  • Enforce food outlet regulations and policies to ensure compliance and safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on employee development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and resolve operational and customer issues promptly.
  • Proficient in using financial and point-of-sale systems to track performance and forecasts.
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
