QA Manual Tester (225-731)

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Manual Tester to join our team. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with our development team to execute test plans, identify defects, and improve the overall user experience of our products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and excellent analytical skills. Your ability to document and communicate your findings effectively will be key in ensuring our products meet our standards of excellence and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases manually.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand project requirements.
• Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
• Communicate findings and feedback to enhance product quality effectively.
• Analyze user requirements to define test scenarios and test data.
• Participate in design and specification reviews to provide timely feedback.
• Ensure that critical issues are identified, tracked, and resolved promptly.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of software testing processes and results.
• Verify application functionality through various testing strategies and methods.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues to identify the root cause of problems.
• Improve testing processes to become more efficient over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester or similar role.
• Solid understanding of software testing processes and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings.
• Experience with bug tracking software, such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC and experience in all test phases.
