Job Description

The SEO Manager plays a crucial role in strengthening the digital presence of an organization. This professional is entrusted with the responsibility to develop, implement, and manage strategies that boost organic search rankings on search engines like Google. The SEO Manager works closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing experts to enhance the visibility of website content, drive site traffic, and increase conversion rates. They continuously analyze search performance data to identify trends or anomalies and adapt strategies accordingly. An in-depth understanding of the latest SEO practices and digital marketing trends is essential, along with the ability to leverage analytical data in crafting effective SEO strategies that align with the company’s goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for increased organic traffic.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits to identify opportunities for site improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure the integration of SEO best practices in all content.
  • Analyze organic search metrics and track performance using industry-standard tools and software.
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content strategy and marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across major search engines.
  • Manage off-page SEO efforts such as link-building and partnerships to enhance domain authority.
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and algorithm changes.
  • Develop regular reports on SEO performance metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor team members on SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Ensure technical SEO compliance, troubleshooting and resolving any site issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure SEO recommendations are properly implemented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role in a digital marketing environment.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and others.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and inform strategies.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
