Network Engineer (225-813)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a team responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. As a Network Engineer, you will support critical network infrastructure upgrades and improvements, maintain network security features, and ensure high-quality connectivity at all levels. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and security of our network services, enabling a seamless and robust technological backbone for the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy functional networks, such as LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
• Configure and install various network devices and services, including routers and switches.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability at all times.
• Interest in implementing security measures and protocols to prevent data breaches.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs and patches.
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of networks.
• Develop network policies and procedures based on industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and system management activities.
• Implement and manage network management systems for monitoring and reporting purposes.
• Ensure all IT activities conform to established company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the evaluation of emerging network technologies for potential implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is required.
• Proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of implementing and configuring firewalls and security measures.
• Familiarity with quality service tools and technical email security practices.
• Professional certification like CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent will be preferred.
