Database Administrator (225-811)

As a Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of databases. You will be tasked with the setup, configuration, operation, and maintenance of database systems to ensure they meet organizational needs. In this role, you will work closely with IT teams, developers, and business analysts to coordinate database management activities and ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will establish user needs, monitor database performance, and implement changes to optimize system performance. Responsibilities

• Regularly review, troubleshoot, and improve database performance for optimal queries.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Research and implement best practices in database management and optimization.
• Coordinate with developers to design and modify applications that use database systems.
• Plan and implement data migrations and upgrades to ensure technology remains current.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator required, with strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with database management tools and software, such as Oracle, SQL Server.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for database optimization.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle complex technical issues efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of database structure and theory for effective management.
• Outstanding communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
