Job Description

The Field Service Executive plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction through their hands-on technical expertise and customer service skills. Charged with ensuring the proper functioning of field systems, they offer on-site support and perform field activities to resolve technical issues. By acting as the main point of contact, Field Service Executives not only provide solutions but also prevent potential problems, contributing to the overall productivity and efficiency of the company's service operations. This role requires a mix of technical know-how, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to handle diverse customer needs and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services for field equipment.
  • Diagnose problems, identify solutions, and make timely repairs on site.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and system upgrades to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve challenging service issues.
  • Report daily activities and prepare documentation for all service actions performed.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Educate customers on equipment usage and maintenance best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols and all safety regulations on-site.
  • Manage parts inventory and supplies to minimize service disruptions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate service appointments and manage time efficiently to meet schedules.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a field service or technical support role is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with proficiency in reading technical manuals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or priorities.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively as needed for the role.
