Job Description

The Sales Coordinator is an essential member of the sales team, responsible for helping the sales department run smoothly and effectively. This position acts as a vital link between the sales team and the rest of the organization, ensuring that customer inquiries are handled promptly and efficiently. The Sales Coordinator will oversee the processing of sales orders, track sales data, and assist in the planning and implementation of sales strategies. They will also maintain strong relationships with clients and provide support in managing accounts. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and exhibits excellent communication skills to support sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material for successful sales operations.
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems and provide optimal solutions.
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements for streamlined operations.
  • Assist sales team in preparing proposals, contracts, and reports on market analysis.
  • Maintain sales and marketing-related records and prepare sales reports for leadership review.
  • Liaise with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any order discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and sales outreach.
  • Facilitate the creation of promotional plans and sales performance reports for strategic decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is essential for this role.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to team goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling client issues and inquiries.
