Job Description

An IT Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving a company's growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and formulating strategies to expand the IT service sector. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and business acumen to understand and anticipate the needs of various markets, aligning them with the company’s technological capabilities. The successful candidate will oversee business development initiatives, cultivate long-term relationships with clients, and work collaboratively with the sales and technical teams to provide innovative solutions. An IT Business Development Manager must be proactive, results-driven, and capable of leading the company’s efforts to achieve ambitious revenue growth targets in an ever-evolving tech landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT sector across various domains.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance business growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategic marketing initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas in IT services.
  • Lead contract negotiations with potential clients to secure favorable business deals and agreements.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to develop and tailor solutions that meet client demands.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by ensuring regular follow-up and engagement with prospective clients.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans and sales strategies to achieve the company’s revenue goals.
  • Report on performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable business and data protection regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the business development process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business development or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer preferences in the technology industry.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
