We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse range of Indian dishes, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection, both in taste and presentation. Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare traditional and contemporary Indian dishes using authentic recipes.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff for efficient workflow.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Plan and develop new menus with a focus on Indian cuisine and innovation.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee the ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with management to align menu offerings with customer preferences.
  • Monitor portion control, waste management, and food cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure consistent presentation and quality of dishes served to guests.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in Indian cuisine and culinary innovations.
  • Handle customer feedback and adapt recipes or presentation as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a reputable establishment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to manage a busy kitchen and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to implement them rigorously.
  • Fluency in English and experience in creating recipe documentation.
  • Passion for Indian cuisine and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
