Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The Forklift Operator will play a key role in maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of products.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and proficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Transport goods to designated locations using safe and efficient techniques.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, or shelves, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement.
• Handle fragile or hazardous items with care, following established guidelines.
• Assist in the organization and tracking of inventory by accurately updating records and reporting any discrepancies.
• Assist in conducting periodic inventory checks as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety guidelines for forklift operation.
• Conduct routine checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of goods.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to forklift operations, including inventory records, logbooks, and incident reports.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring that aisles and pathways are clear for safe movement of the forklift and personnel.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts and efficient operations.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on forklift operation best practices and safety regulations.
• Follow UAE regulations and guidelines pertaining to forklift operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid UAE forklift operator license/certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of forklift operation techniques, safety practices, and equipment maintenance.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
• Physical capability to operate a forklift and perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and maneuvering.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings, if required.
• Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
