An opportunity awaits you to step into a dynamic role as an Assistant Manager, where you'll play a pivotal part in the operational success of our team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the senior management team by supervising staff, organizing work schedules, and maintaining quality service standards. You will act as a liaison between team members and management, ensuring that operations run smoothly while fostering a positive work environment. The role demands a proactive, result-oriented individual who can handle challenging situations with diplomacy and efficiency. You'll be expected to apply your leadership skills to drive team performance and achieve organizational objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
  • Coordinate and schedule workload to meet business demands while maintaining productivity.
  • Implement company policies and ensure team adherence to operational standards.
  • Support in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure quality service is consistently provided.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting and reporting organizational performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate organizational goals and updates.
  • Monitor and improve staff performance through mentorship and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Liaise with other departments to optimize organizational strategy and operations.
  • Collate data and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and organized mindset.
  • Proficiency in using office software and management tools, such as MS Office.
