Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, recording and analyzing financial data, and preparing financial statements and reports. They ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. The accountant also provides support in budgeting, audits, tax preparations, and financial planning activities. They collaborate with other departments to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
- Record and analyze financial transactions.
- Process and verify invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Support in audits and tax preparations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
