Accountant

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing accurate reports that support financial decision-making. The role includes handling accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, audits, and tax filings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

• Prepare financial statements and management reports

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger balances

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

• Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports

• Monitor financial discrepancies and propose corrective actions

• Implement and maintain internal financial controls

• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors and auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally)

• Solid knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
