Yacht Seaman

As a Yacht Seaman, you will play an integral role in the operation and maintenance of a luxury yacht. Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe navigation and operation of the yacht at all times.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure yacht standards.
• Coordinate with the captain and crew to execute all safety drills efficiently.
• Perform lookout duties and report potential hazards or obstacles promptly.
• Manage deck operations, including ropes, fenders, and anchoring procedures.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent service and address their inquiries.
• Participate actively in emergency response and rescue operations as needed.
• Ensure proper stowage and care for yacht equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support yacht technical requirements.
• Assist in provisioning and inventory management for all onboard supplies.
• Regularly inspect facilities to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of daily activities and incidents onboard.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maritime roles or formal nautical training required.
• Proficiency in handling mooring lines and performing basic nautical maneuvers.
• Strong understanding of maritime safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and crew.
• Possess a valid STCW certificate and any other relevant qualifications.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform demanding tasks and long shifts.
• Team-oriented and flexible with a positive attitude towards varied tasks.
