Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associates are responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Processing Stock: Unload trucks and check in merchandise, ensuring accuracy with order documentation.
• Order Picking: Select products from inventory based on order requirements.
• Packing and Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of inventory and stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring items are stored in designated areas.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and damages, report any issues to supervisors.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other warehouse staff to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse machinery (certification may be required).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
