Visual Merchandiser

We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to create visually appealing and captivating displays in retail stores or showrooms. Your role involves using your creativity and understanding of consumer behavior to showcase products in an attractive and engaging manner, thereby enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers. You will work closely with the retail team and management to design and implement visual displays that align with the brand's image and drive sales.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store managers and retail teams to determine the layout and visual presentation of merchandise in the store or showroom.
• Plan and design creative visual displays to highlight product features and promotions effectively.
• Create eye-catching window displays to attract the attention of passersby and entice them to enter the store.
• Change window displays regularly to reflect new product arrivals, seasonal themes, or promotional campaigns.
• Arrange products in visually appealing ways to showcase their unique features and benefits.
• Use colour coordination, lighting, and props to create engaging product presentations.
• Ensure that visual displays align with the brand's image, values, and guidelines.
• Design and implement effective signage to communicate product information and promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the retail team to ensure adequate stock for visual displays.
• Replace sold-out or low-stock items promptly to maintain attractive displays.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines provided by the brand or retail company.
• Implement best practices for store layout, product placement, and visual storytelling.
• Plan and execute seasonal and promotional displays to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align visual displays with ongoing campaigns.
• Ensure that displays are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections and make necessary adjustments to uphold visual standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competitor displays to remain innovative and ahead of market expectations.

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Design, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Creativity and a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of consumer behaviour and the ability to use visual cues to influence buying decisions.
• Proficiency in using design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create visual displays.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with retail teams and management.
• Flexibility to work during weekends or on special occasions when required for store set-ups or events.
• Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
