Responsibilities

  • Perform surgeries on the bladder, kidneys, and male reproductive organs.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests for patient conditions.
  • Provide consultancy and follow-up care for ongoing urological issues.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies aimed at treating urological conditions.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and families about preventative measures and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients and treatment history.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in urology practice.
  • Develop patient-care protocols to improve clinical outcomes and efficiency.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and continuing education.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and urology interns or residents.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited university, specializing in urology.
  • Valid medical license to practice as a Urologist.
  • Completion of residency and fellowship programs specializing in urology fields.
  • Strong understanding of the latest techniques in minimally invasive surgery.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to ongoing educational and professional development in urology.
  • Proven track record of comprehensive patient management and empathy.
