Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and integrity.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure security.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks or issues.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for troubleshooting and optimizing hardware and software.
• Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and data recovery processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users experiencing IT-related issues.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to safeguard data integrity.
• Participate in the design and implementation of complex IT systems and networks.
• Develop and document IT system configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and IT technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Extensive experience with server management and application support.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with IT and non-IT staff.
