As a Staff Shop Supervisor you will supervise the day to day shop floor operations of the EmiratesRED Staff Shops located at the Emirates Group Headquarters. To ensure that a suitable level of service is provided to customers through the standards set in the shop for product, display, merchandising, housekeeping.
In This Role You Will
Responsible for sales targets to be met, report back any deviations to the Shops Manager and propose appropriate actions to meet targets. Ensure daily sales are registered in correct manner and will provide monthly and ad-hoc sales data to Shop Manager. Able to draw conclusions and recommendations from the provided data.
Lead and motivate other team members to achieve targets, ensure process are followed, and provide on the job training where needed.
Responsible to ensure a visual merchandising that expresses our high standards and quality of products on offer. Responsible for the enforcement and maintenance of a suitable housekeeping standard in the unit ensuring that fixtures / fittings and physical stock presentation are optimised. Initiate changes where needed, propose ideas to the Shops Manager based on market trends, and follow guidelines from brands when required.
Responsible to maintain adequate stock levels of all products and to inform Stock Controller and Shop Manager if any potential stock issue might arise, control stock movements both incoming and outgoing, and between shops. Enforce and maintain a good housekeeping of the stock rooms.
Ensure that goods are receipted and received in good condition and ensuring an adequate audit trail is maintained to enable EK to track and reconcile stock.Liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth deliveries and take follow up on the process from delivery until the delivery tallies the invoice.
Monitor, evaluate and report product defects with a view to identifying poor quality trends, and accurate determining the cause of potential problems. Where the cause is external the jobholder will take appropriate action to inform the SM, and with supplier to remedy problem and avert future reoccurrence.
Manage customer feedback and complaints in an in an appropriate manner keeping customer satisfaction at the highest level.
Responsible in promoting the sales to our customer base of cabin crew and office staff. They are responsible for devising and recommending promotions to SM including pop-up shops, GWP, discounts, upsell, and other incentives.
Assist the Shops Manager with regards to supplier/product selection by making recommendations based on customer feedback.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
5+ years experience in Commercial/Sales
Knowledge/skills
Youll have an edge if you have:
Experience within a retail / sales environment or equivalent.
Knowledge of Retail sales at a supervisory level
Advanced knowledge of standard Microsoft packages MS Word, Databases, Excel, PowerPoint and E- Mail.
