Job Description

The Senior Supply Chain Executive is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process. This position demands a strategic thinker who can evaluate and enhance supply chain models to meet the evolving needs of our operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to implement solutions that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance satisfaction. This encompasses everything from procurement and logistics to inventory management and quality control. The Senior Supply Chain Executive will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations, while effectively communicating and managing changes as needed. A proactive approach to problem-solving, along with excellent analytical and leadership skills, are essential in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
  • Oversee inventory management systems to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Lead quality control initiatives to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Manage budgets related to supply chain operations and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
  • Implement and monitor technological solutions to enhance supply chain capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop junior supply chain staff to build a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and reducing costs.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for vendor management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
