Job Description

The Sr Specialist – Program Management is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with overseeing and driving the successful execution of strategic projects and programs. This individual will be responsible for managing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Sr Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, coordinating resources and aligning objectives to meet business goals. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of program management principles. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on optimizing efficiency, mitigating risk, and fostering a collaborative environment among stakeholders. The Sr Specialist will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and innovation. This position requires a high degree of adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate the dynamic and fast-paced environment of our organization and industry.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of key programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate efficient collaboration among stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
  • Monitor program progress and performance metrics, reporting on outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks to mitigate impacts to project timelines and goals.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and management for project updates.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project demands.
  • Drive process improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of programs.
  • Maintain program documentation, including project charters and progress reports.
  • Mentor and support activities of junior team members for skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as MS Project or equivalent.
