Job Description

The Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by securing sponsorships and exhibition sales for events, conferences, and trade shows. This role involves identifying potential clients, developing compelling proposals, and building long-term relationships with sponsors and exhibitors. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, exceptional sales skills, and experience in the events or media industry, with a passion for delivering value to partners and maximizing event profitability.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and secure sponsors and exhibitors for events and conferences.

  • Develop and present tailored sponsorship proposals and sales pitches.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and decision-makers.

  • Collaborate with event production and marketing teams to align offerings and timelines.

  • Negotiate pricing, deliverables, and contract terms to maximize event revenue.

  • Track sales activity using CRM systems and prepare performance reports.

  • Attend industry events and networking functions to generate leads.

  • Provide pre-event and onsite support to sponsors and exhibitors.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategies.

  • Ensure sponsor satisfaction and retention by delivering on commitments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship or exhibition sales.

  • Strong understanding of the events or media landscape.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.

  • Self-driven with high levels of initiative and accountability.

  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
