Job Description

The Social Media Specialist is a dynamic role that plays an integral part in the digital marketing strategies of an organization. This position is responsible for developing and managing the company's social media presence across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The Social Media Specialist will use creativity and innovation to craft compelling content that drives engagement, boosts brand awareness, and fosters community growth. This role requires a keen understanding of current trends, social media algorithms, and a passion for connecting with audiences online. Communication skills and a strategic mindset are crucial, as the specialist will collaborate with different departments to ensure a consistent brand voice and coordinate efforts in outreach, promotions, and customer interaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos for platforms.
  • Analyze audience insights and social media metrics to guide strategy adjustments.
  • Monitor social media trends and audience preferences to maintain brand relevance.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and product teams to craft cohesive campaigns.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns for lead generation.
  • Develop monthly reports on social media performance and campaign successes.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital technologies and competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and impact.
  • Foster community engagement to build a loyal following and brand advocates.
  • Ensure brand message consistency in copy, tone, and visual content across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role in digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is a plus.
