Job Description

The Social Media Executive plays a pivotal role in the digital marketing landscape, responsible for the creation, management, and execution of a brand's social media strategies. This position requires a dynamic and creative professional who lives and breathes social media. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for enhancing the brand’s online presence and relationship with its audience by developing engaging content tailored to each platform's audience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media trends and technologies and will be equipped with excellent communication skills to craft and curate content. The role demands staying ahead of industry trends, understanding audience needs, and using analytical tools to optimize performance. Joining the marketing team, the Social Media Executive will help drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer retention through strategic social media efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Create and schedule engaging, high-quality content tailored for specific social media audiences.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and respond to engagements in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall brand goals.
  • Analyze social media metrics and optimize content for maximum engagement and growth.
  • Engage with users, fostering community spirit and building brand loyalty online.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and changes in social media algorithms and practices.
  • Coordinate with designers and other content creators to produce appealing visuals and multimedia content.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement effectively.
  • Regularly evaluate target audience impact and adjust strategies as necessary for optimal results.
  • Utilize analytics tools to report on performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Host or participate in live events or sessions on social media to engage with the community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role for at least two years.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to grammar and style.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment for project alignment.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and sponsored content campaigns.
