Job Description

The Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth communication and operations within a service-based organization. This role involves acting as a critical liaison between clients, service technicians, and management to ensure that all service requests are addressed promptly and efficiently. The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling service appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that customer needs are met with the highest level of service. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments based on customer needs and urgency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all service requests and interactions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring responsive communication.
  • Liaise between service technicians and customers to convey information accurately.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to enhance service quality.
  • Monitor and track service progress, ensuring timely completion of all requests.
  • Provide administrative support to the service team, including data entry and filing.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports and analysis on service patterns and outcomes for management review.
  • Collaborate with management to improve service processes and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in all service operations.
  • Coordinate with inventory staff to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Customer Service, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service coordinator or similar role is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for data management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills to handle customer needs efficiently.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
