Job Description

A Telesales Executive is a crucial position within the sales department, responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling products or services over the phone. As a Telesales Executive, you will engage potential customers, understand their needs, and convert opportunities into sales. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential customers through cold calling and follow-up calls.
  • Clearly present, promote, and sell products or services over the phone.
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions to meet those needs effectively.
  • Achieve set sales targets and outcomes within the timeline provided.
  • Maintain detailed records of all calls and customer interactions in CRM.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve sales techniques and strategies.
  • Handle customer queries and provide necessary information promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Keep well-informed about product updates, new offerings, and promotional strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the team on market trends and customer demands.
  • Participate in team meetings and suggest initiatives to enhance sales performance.
  • Regularly report sales activity and progress to sales manager and management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telesales or other sales/customer service roles.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the spoken language.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate with clients effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Capability to meet sales goals and deadlines consistently and independently.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
