Job Description

As a Senior Procurement Executive, you will lead and oversee all procurement activities within the organization. This role requires a highly skilled individual to strategize and manage the sourcing of goods and services at competitive prices, ensuring quality, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. The Senior Procurement Executive will work closely with different departments to understand their needs and develop comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and an in-depth understanding of market trends. Your ability to deliver cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiencies will be critical to the role's success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors globally.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess procurement needs and requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement process, from sourcing to tendering and contract management.
  • Monitor market trends, demand, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain for uninterrupted business operations.
  • Analyze procurement data and generate reports to present to senior management.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and promote efficient procurement practices across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals for optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement or supply chain management roles.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing beneficial procurement deals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and market trends effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
