Senior Procurement Engineer(Construction)

 Sending inquires with comprehensive specifications and obtaining offers from suppliers / sub-contractors during estimation and execution period of the projects;

 Prepare the comparison sheet to make comparison between at least three competitive valid offers, secure approval of same and prepare Purchase Orders or sub-contracts as appropriate;

 Ensure proper selection and evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractors as per related quality procedures;

 Issue, update and distribute the approved suppliers/sub-contractors list;

 Prepare and process Purchase Orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 Ensure on time delivery of ordered materials/services to the projects and with requested specifications;

 Maintenance of suppliers / sub-contractors records including evaluation and selection records, performance records, LPO’s, inquiries and any other correspondence with suppliers and sub-contractors.

 Maintenance of purchasing statistics (per supplier, per type of product/service, per period) and providing Finance Dept with information as may be required.

 Participate in Vendor assessment/evaluation process to validate the vendor performance

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
• Min 8 to 12 years experience
• Computer and Software Proficiency
