Inventory Management officer

The Inventory Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted operations across the organization. This role involves tracking stock movements, auditing inventory records, forecasting demand, and collaborating with procurement and warehouse teams. A strong candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to preventing overstocking or stockouts.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory systems.

• Track stock levels, usage, and reorder points across all departments.

• Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely stock replenishment.

• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and wastage.

• Forecast demand based on historical data and consumption trends.

• Generate periodic inventory reports for management review.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of goods in line with standards.

• Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues and variances.

• Support warehouse and logistics operations as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory or stock control.

• Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Familiarity with warehousing procedures and safety regulations.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
