A Senior Commercial Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the financial and commercial success of an organization. Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate financial risks and provide strategies for mitigation.
  • Optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market competitiveness.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior analysts in their daily tasks.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators across various business units.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using financial software, databases, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in a commercial or corporate setting is highly desirable.
  • Proven networking skills and capability to liaise with various departments.
  • Certification such as CFA or CPA is advantageous but not mandatory.
