The Sales Executive – Trucking & Transportation is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving sales within the trucking and transportation sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales with a keen understanding of the transportation industry. They will develop and maintain relationships with clients, identify new market opportunities, and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue goals. As an integral part of our sales team, the Sales Executive will work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and the seamless delivery of services. Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to enhance the company's presence.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to address client inquiries and issues.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales within the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and sales performance.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
