Senior Broadcast Developer

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Senior Broadcast Developer to join our existing Technology Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Senior Broadcast Developer works within the Dev Ops team in the Technology department and is primarily involved in software and web development to support the Broadcast Graphics and Online development operations. They will continually work to ensure that developed programs are error‐free and conducive in maintaining TV Channel look on-air and online.

• Liaise with Graphics, Engineering, Operation, Programs, Newsroom and Digital teams to build smarter elegant graphics solution. eg. Touchscreen, AR/VR, Ticker, data driven logics and action scripts.
• Integrate & Support providers’ data (Business, Weather, Sports etc.) familiar with HTML graphics singular live, ZD, VizRt graphics.
• Assist Broadcast Engineering in the maintenance of graphics system; Graphic Hub, Template Wizard, VCP Control, Ticker System and Map Server etc.
• Integrate different broadcast systems using standard API, protocols and best practices.
• Integrate broadcast systems with digital/online system to share data and information.
• Develop solution to automate Sharepoint, power BI, broadcast and newsroom workflow.
• Works closely with other departments / organizations and collaborates with other Broadcast Engineering & Dev Ops staff.
• Plans and implements system upgrades and liaise with SLA vendor support tickets.
• Maintain uptime of broadcast graphics system for 99.9% uptime.




Requirements

Experience in maintenance of graphics Solution Products: Singular Live, Unreal Engine, Zero Density, AR/VR Systems, Tracking system, Chroma Key, unreal Blueprint, Adobe tools, MSE, Graphic Hub, VCP, Template Wizard, Ticker Client, Map Server etc.
• Experience in writing HTML Scripts, VB script for templates especially data driven templates
• Experience in integration tools & technologies, XML, JSON, Web Services, Web API, Rest API, CSS, HTML5 and TCP/IP Socket programming, FFMpeg
• Experience in DB like MS SQL or No SQL, MS 365 Sharepoint portal, creation of Bespoke internal sharepoint workflow or similar for integrating ERP enhancements
• Experience in building utility applications with Node.js, Javascript, .Net framework and C#
• BS degree in Computer Sciences would be preferred
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience
• Good written and spoken English or Arabic
