Job Overview

As an Inclusion Teacher for the secondary school, you will inspire and engage our inclusion students in inquiry-based learning, delivering high standards in teaching, assessment, and reporting in their subject area and to the inclusion department. This role requires an enthusiastic educator who can motivate students, parents, and staff to achieve continued success. The successful candidate will emphasize holistic education, providing well-resourced lessons and promote every childs right to learn by creating a warm but challenging environment for the children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum content, maintaining outstanding teaching and assessment standards.
  • Understand the specific needs of individual students and support them effectively to make progress.
  • Create a nurturing and engaging classroom that supports students right to learn.
  • Develop differentiated lessons that meet diverse student needs, especially within the IBMYP/DP framework.
  • Collaborate closely with students, parents, and peers to foster a positive educational experience.
  • To work collaboratively with the inclusion team to ensure the highest standard of education is personalised and delivered effectively.
  • Engage in school-wide activities and contribute to the overall welfare of the school community.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree Major in SEN/ Inclusion/ English/ Maths/ Science or equivalent
  • PGCE with UK Qualified Teachers Status, Bachelors of Education or SACE;
  • Minimum 2-3 years proven teaching (within an inclusion environment ideally) experience essential; ideally within an IB school;
  • Proven track record in delivering outstanding results;
  • Professional commitment to the successful implementation of an enriched IB/MYP and IB/DP curriculum is preferred;
  • Competent level of IT Skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with students, parent and peers;
  • Be willing to engage in extra-curricular activities;
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the general welfare of the School.
  • The ability to be a bilingual speaker with Arabic and English an advantage.
