Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team in the lighting industry. As a Sales Manager, you will lead our sales department and be responsible for developing strategies to increase revenue, drive business growth, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will manage a team of sales professionals and work closely with them to achieve team and individual targets. Your expertise in the lighting industry will be invaluable in building strong relationships with key clients and expanding our market presence. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in the ever-evolving lighting market.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure productive performance and motivation.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and establish potential markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the lighting industry.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure the sales team is well-informed of all product offerings and industry trends.
  • Negotiate and close large business deals with potential clients and partners.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Develop training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts and business plans to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in the lighting industry.
  • Excellent understanding of lighting products and industry trends.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related technology tools.
